Important game to mention about took place in Aguada. Fourth rankedLeones (3-5) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Santeros (1-7) 77-74 on Wednesday evening. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Nicaraguan Jared Ruiz (188-1992) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. The former international power forward Jordan Murphy (200-1997, college: Minnesota) accounted for 15 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Dominican center Joel Soriano (211-2000, college: St.John's) came up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 22 rebounds and Serbian-American power forward Nick Rakocevic (211-1997, college: USC, agency: Slash Sports) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Aguada in the defeat. Santeros' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Ponce maintains fourth place with 3-5 record. Aguada at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost.
